Arkie is very quiet and a daydreamer. He has a loud purr and a wonderfully gentle nature which he has passed on to his 14 kittens. His favourite toy is a plastic peg he often carries around with him. He has superb shaggy curls and lovely gold eyes.
Arkie became a dad for the first time 23 April 08 with Lucy (Curlz BC Yer Blues).
From this litter his son Woody (Frisson BC Woodsmoke) has gone to be a stud at S*AgirHus Cattery in Sweden and his daughter Fiery (Frisson BC Firestorm) had a litter here in October 09 before going on to be a queen for Blue Amber Cattery in Japan.
Arkie sired three more litters: with Yin-Yin, Sierra, and Minstrel, and is now retired from breeding. His daughter Delta is a queen at Silver Bell Cod Cattery in Japan, two other daughters Ria and Melody are our queens. His grandaughters Rain and Astra, grandsons Stormbringer and Echo, and great-grandkits Zulu, Kali, Mandy, Voodoo, Sienna and Winter are also continuing his line.
Arkie enjoyed returning to the show bench, achieving Gold Double Grand Champion status.
